Learning About Local Businesses

During our Business and Health Care Day we were able to hear from many different local businesses from Advent Health to Turfcare. We learned about why these companies chose to set up their businesses in Sebring, Florida. One reason that was consistent was how close to the center of the state we are, this allows for these companies to reach the entire state relatively easily. The company I found most interesting to have in our small town was Tecnam US, which is an international aircraft company based out of Italy. I found this to be so interesting because of how small Sebring is, yet it was chosen to be the US headquarters of an Italian plane company. The whole day out was very interesting and enlightening for me to see how widespread Sebring’s reach is across the world.
