Lifetime of Success

My daughter, Aubrey has been a part of the Mason G. Smoak Youth Leadership Highlands Program for the past two years. This opportunity has allowed her to build skills for a lifetime of success. She has had ongoing opportunities to develop important leadership skills such as; problem-solving, effective communication, creativity, and the ability to delegate. Aubrey along with other second year members of the program recently organized and facilitated a successful leadership conference for 8th grade students in Highlands County. She has also been able to visit and learn about numerous local community organizations. One of my favorite things she has participated in was a "out of the box" fundraising drive to benefit a local food pantry. This is a fantastic program that allows young people to grow and flourish.
