Agriculture Day at A Glance
For Agriculture Day, we were allowed the opportunity to visit Happiness Farms, Delray Plants
and the Smoak Ranch. It was an eventful day filled with nature and fun. Even though it rained a
little, we still had a great day learning all about local businesses. We started off the day at
Happiness Farms where we learned how caladiums are grown and shipped around the world.
Next, we headed to Delray Plants and learned about how they also grow and ship plants within
the United States. To end the day we visited the Smoak Ranch. Here we had lunch, learned
some about the cattle and citrus businesses locally and went for a swamp buggy ride around
the property. It was probably one of our favorite days so far.
