My favorite stop of our Ag and Tourism Day was the dairy farm. There, I saw the inner workings of the dairy industry and all of the work behind the products I consume. The people there use both technology and people in an efficient balance that I found quite fascinating. With only a few men, they could care for up to 2,600 cows, tending to all of their basic needs, and keeping them comfortable. I was impressed and grateful for the work that they do to give us all the milk and dairy we consume every day. I love the YLH program and look forward to our next outing soon.
