My name is Natalia Barrera, and I am so honored to be the 2025 Mason G. Smoak Scholarship recipient for Avon Park High School. Along with graduating from High School, I was also able to earn an Associate of Arts degree from South Florida State College. During my time in high school, I had the opportunity to be in multiple organizations, including National Honor Society, Student Government Association, Interact, Key Club, Youth Leadership Highlands, Red Devil Buddies Mentoring Program, and Tennis. I will be attending Florida State University in the fall, majoring in Human Resource Management, with a plan to attend graduate school and obtain a master's in Business Administration. During my time at university, I plan on joining organizations such as Circle K International and Catholic Noles to continue giving back to communities and to deepen my faith. Ultimately, I want to allow the Lord to guide me in everything that I do. I will always be filled with gratitude as I reflect on the support and honor that the Mason G. Smoak Foundation has given me.
