Hello, my name is Hermione Lindsay, and I attended Sebring High School. During my time there, I was the Vice President of the National Honor Society, and I was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, and the African American Culture Club. I also played Flag football and Basketball. I am not only a Mason G. Smoak scholar but also a recipient of the Alan Jay Scholarship. I am planning to go to the University of South Florida in the fall, and I plan to major in public health and transfer to their nursing program. I want to graduate and work in the ICU and hopefully become a Nurse Anesthetist. At USF, I hope to volunteer at their local hospital, become involved with community service and medical clubs on campus, and hopefully study abroad in France. I am beyond grateful for this honor of being a Mason G. Smoak Foundation Scholar, and by God's grace, I will not waste it. Thank you very much.
