My name is Laryn Christian and I am the 2026 recipient of the Mason G. Smoak Foundation Scholarship for Hardee Senior High School. I recently graduated summa cum laude from Hardee High School as well as from South Florida State College where I earned an AA degree. Through high school I was a member of National Honor Society and Interact Club. I also qualified and participated in the Florida Vocal Association All-State choirs all 4 years. I have been an active member of First Baptist Church of Wauchula and the FBC Rock Student ministry where I have served on the Youth Praise Team for the past 7 years. 
In the fall I will be attending Florida State University College of Music where I will be studying voice with hopes of pursuing a career in vocal performance. While there, I intend to become involved in the Baptist College Ministry as well as a local church where I can hopefully continue to be involved in leading worship.
