My name is Braden Beaney. I am a graduate of DeSoto County High School, and I have also received an Associate in Arts degree from South Florida State College. I will be attending the University of Florida and I am majoring in biology. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in biology, I intend to attend medical school as I pursue a career in neurology. I have plans to conduct undergraduate research on multiple sclerosis, a neurological and disabling disorder. I am interested in conducting research on this disorder because my stepfather suffers from it. I also plan on participating in several clubs during my time at UF, particularly environmental and medical organizations.
