Government Day with S.W.A.T

Government Day was a very interesting day. We learned the jobs of the court system and the jobs of some of the officials that work there. We got to talk to one of the judges, the sheriff, a crime scene investigator, and a police official. We also got to meet the actual S.W.A.T team which was interesting because they let us hold the weapons that they use. We also went to the jail but I didn't get to go in. After the jail we got to see some K-9 demonstrations which were pretty awesome. Then we ate some jail food which was not that great but it was ok, especially the cookies. After eating we went to the college (SFSC- Avon Park Campus). We saw some cool chemistry experiments and were able to see a cool drone fly. Government day was a fun and exciting day.
