5K Run & Family Fun Day

The chilly morning didn’t stop 168 runners from coming out and participating in the 2nd Annual Mason G Smoak 5K run. The first place finisher and overall male winner was Doug Morton, finishing in 17:02. The overall female winner was Sarah Brooker, finishing in 22:39. We had two male master division winners, Mike Martino in 20:24, and Darryl Wirick enjoyed his first male master win with a time of 19:59. Our female master winner was Jane Greene in 24:30. Runner Ben King who came in first place in the male 30-34 age group and came in 2nd place overall, finished with an impressive time of 18:59. Our special athlete of the day was Miss Hannah Wheeler(13) who completed the 3.17 miles skipping and dancing most of the way. Thanks to all who came out and supported this beautiful day.
